

FAQ
1) HOW DO I GET TO YOUR PREMISES?
We are located at Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC), second floor.

Address: H-01, DPAC, Empire Damansara,
Jalan PJU 8/8, Damansara Perdana,
47820 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

DPAC is prominently located at the main entrance to Damansara Perdana, just off the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), opposite PJ Trade Centre, nearby IKEA, The Curve and 1 Utama.
​
After the LDP highway as you enter Damansara Perdana (there is a big signboard which says DAMANSARA PERDANA on your right), at the first traffic light , turn right and go along the road for about 800m. DPAC is on your right, opposite the PJ Trade Centre.
Please park your car at either Entrance 1 (E1) which is beside the Qliq Hotel or Entrance 3 (E3) which is opposite PJ Trade Centre and proceed to our venue.
2) WHAT ARE YOUR OFFICE HOURS?
Monday – Friday: 10.00am – 5.00pm
3) WHAT EXACTLY IS BALLET?
A classical dance form demanding highly developed technique. Ballet is best known for its virtuoso techniques such as multiple pirouettes and grand allegro, grand pas de deux, and high leg extensions. Ballet aims to improve posture, flexibility and grace through barre and centre work.
4) AM I TOO OLD TO START LEARNING BALLET?
Definitely not! Especially if you are physically able to and willing to try. Our classes cater to adults and working professionals with an age range of students from 20s to 60s.
5) WHAT LEVEL SHOULD I ATTEND?
Adult ballet classes are suitable for those with or without prior ballet training. As classes are progressive and non-syllabus based, you may wish to purchase a single class and decide if the level of the class is suitable for you. Progression would be advised by the respective instructors subsequently. However, students could also opt to join in other classes (higher or lower level), should they feel that they are over-qualified / under-qualified in the current level.
6) WHAT ATTIRE SHOULD I WEAR?
Simple and comfortable. A simple leotard and a pair of tights or leggings / tight sweat pants or shorts paired with a tank top or t-shirt (men) with ballet slippers would best be recommended.
7) HOW CAN WE REGISTER AND MAKE PAYMENT?

Participants must be registered and payment made one day before the class.
8) HOW MUCH ARE THE CLASSES?
* Single Class: RM 50
* Introductory Class Pass x 4: RM 179
* Class Pass x 10: RM 450
* Class Pass x 25: RM 1000
* Class Pass x 50: RM 1750

9) HOW LONG IS EACH CLASS?
90 minutes only.
10) DO YOU HAVE ANY CLASSES IN THE WEEKEND?
Not at the moment. We only have daytime classes on weekday.
11) ARE THERE ANY EXAMS, CERTIFICATION OR IS THERE A SYLLABUS?
No. Classes are progressive and non-syllabus based.
12) DO I NEED TO BE IN FULL ATTIRE IF I AM COMING FOR A TRIAL CLASS?
We advise that you come in recommended attire – refer to Q6 but if you are unable to do so, you can come in anything you are comfortable in and can stretch in e.g. track pants, tank top, socks.
