Incentives in Tax Deduction for sponsors
(Tax Deduction for sponsorship for activities in Arts, Culture and Heritage under Sub-section 34(6)(k) of the Income Tax Act 1967)
To encourage sponsorships for activities in arts, culture and heritage that are approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the government allows Tax Deduction from the gross income of businesses from the private sector.
