XIN PENG WANG

Born in China, Xin Peng Wang began his career with the National Ballet of China and later served as Artistic Director of the Dortmund Opera House Ballet in Germany for 22 years, creating over sixty works, including Faust, A Dream of Red Mansions, and The Divine Comedy. Renowned for integrating literature, music, and cultural depth into dance, he also collaborated with Zhang Yimou on Raise the Red Lantern.

In 2014, he founded the NRW Junior Ballet to cultivate young talent for international stages. He has also served as a distinguished judge at the 25th Anniversary of Youth America Grand Prix, the world’s largest international student ballet competition.
