Jongky Goei was born in Malang/ Indonesia.

After studying music education and cultural management in Germany, he worked as a cultural exchange manager and agent for several world-renowned ballet companies and ballet stars, including the Birmingham Royal Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, and the National Ballet of Finland, China, Japan, and the Czech Republic. Kenneth Greve, Tamara Rojo, Alina Cojocaru, Friedemann Vogel, Polina Semionova, and Vadim Muntagirov were amongst the prominent artists he worked with. 

 

He has also initiated and organised ballet productions such as The Last Emperor, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and Nutcracker. From 2011 to 2019, he co-organised the International Competition for Ballet and Choreography in Beijing.
